LULA

LULA is a Philadelphia-area-based, mixed-media artist whose work explores the relationship between our sense of self and the uterine system. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Moore College of Art and Design (2006). LULA began experimenting with collage as a personal and therapeutic exercise to process the intricate and nuanced journey of living in a body with a complicated uterus.

These uterine explorations, Intuitive Utersoul Mappings, have expanded beyond LULA to embrace the voices and lived experiences of others navigating their sense of self as it relates to living with, removing, loving, hating, embracing, rejecting, and navigating the uterine system.
